aka how one Iowa guy lost over 200 pounds and gained his life back. I can not say enough about how positively the Atkins Diet and low carb in general has been for me. I went from a 429 pound guy who could barely make it up a flight steps to a guy running half marathons and rejoining the National Guard. My health is fantastic, and my blood work (cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure, heart) could not be better.

it says 2tbs =4.8 carbs i can have like one tbs or half right. with lettuce and few olives?

Check the amount of carbs per serving. If it is over 2g it is not ok. This is both in the book under the rules of Induction and in my video.

They are actually... Their founder is attached to PCRM (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine), which is a supporter of PETA and big vegan group.

Atkinsexposed is probably linked to instyitutions like PETA so it shouldn´t really be taken seriously ...

My ultimate response for these nay-sayers would be what was their diet. A lot of people claim to be "on Atkins" even in my comments, but have not read the book yet. As bad I as I feel for Rachel Huskey's parents, there has to be more to the story. Could you become potassium deficient perhaps if you don't take a multi- or don't follow the diet at all. You can't eat just ground beef or chicken and claim to be on Atkins.

I would be really cautious getting all my information from an extremely biased source like AtkinsExposed. The thing I am most dubious is that Atkins is not a high protein diet (30-35% of one's Calories). It is a high fat diet (60-65%). Watch the rest of my videos and learn the truth about what the diet is and is not. For me it's been the healthiest thing I have ever done.

ok im reaserching this diet for health class and it killed a girl named rachel and is causes cardiac arrhythmias. so if you are on this diet i think its best for you to stop i know you dont want to become a statistic!!

Wow! Great job! I started the Atkins 6 weeks ago. I've lost 30 pounds so far. I walk, jog, and do yoga.

My cholesterol has gone down 50 points due to Atkins. Sat fats in the absence of sugars are not the issue. I have 4 years of great blood work to prove it, but you can certainly believe what you want.
