thank you for posting actual vocal advice, the expert villiage vids are horrible. being in an opera company 4 a while, i feel that it's important ppl who are inexperienced in singing are getting the right information about the voice, and vocal technique.
to aspiring singers: this is an excellent way to work your diaphragm.

pretty much any caffeine is bad. avoid that and limit your dairy amounts. Lemon water is best to help your voice. but not too much acid. and honey and lemon is good every once in a while. even if ur not sick

I do some harsh death metal vocals and I have to say the shh technique really helps with getting into the swings of things
