now ur just getting specific.; maybe he does maybe he doesnthow gives a SH** everyone here looked up this song strictly for the sake of listening to awsome music, not to argue whether or not someone like levon wants to be considered canadian. give up the arguments and enjoy classic rock at its best

What a fantastic song. Love this song and this video. Some of Canada's best exports right there. Check this out: Saw the Trews again last night, though this time they weren't opening for someone. Their second last song was a cover of The Weight. It's almost impossible for a cover to be better than the original, especially this song, but they did a KILLER job. Better than this? No. Still absolutely amazing and a wonderful tribute? You betcha.

Not sure Levon likes being called Canadian
