This is one of the most popular mantras,Which Tibetan Buddhists love to chant,as the beautiful Green tara is one of the country's favourite deities.The Green Tara mantra is usually chanted to remove obstacles, fears and worries. What beautiful images of Tara - thank you for posting this, my tibetan name is Thubten Drolkar - which means the White Tara so since I was given the name when I took my official lay vows in 2003, I naturally feel a closeness to her. She is always laughing too! She is also a fierce protector of her sons and daughters and all who call out to her. She is the Goddess of compassion, of long life and the Goddess of rainbows.
