Funny you should mention the "cold." Maybe I'm out to lunch, but I tend to think of -10 to -30 degrees Celsius as cold. Lets put it this way: Vancouver is the warmest place in Canada. As far as crime, it's sorta the "wild west" of Canada, so relative to the rest of the country the crime might be high, but compared to other major international cities it's below average. Lots of "outdoor people", retirees, and expensive housing!

I'd say about -1 to 7 degrees Celsius during the winter; mid 20's in the summer..

Time lapse is an simple yet amazing thing, ive done a couple but i dont have anywhere as beautiful to do it as Vancouver. Im going there for four weeks in the summer and i cannot wait atall. will my first time outside of europe aswell. It looks like a stunning place to live.
